Assistant Manager/ Manager (Client Training, IFRS group)

Assurance Client Training group is looking to recruit 2 AM's / Managers to work on IFRS consulting and complex training projects. Ideally these are full time roles - but secondment or project work is possible.

These CT projects are structured around working 1:1 with our CT client, with the aim of transfering the necessary knowledge and skills for client to become IFRS self sufficient in FS preparation. The role will require a high level of client contact both at the initial project scoping stage and then as the project progresses over a period of weeks / months, leading more junior staff members and working closely with the client's accounting/finance staff.. Thus, the candidate will need to demonstrate a consulting mindset in indentiying the best approach to support the client's staff development of knowledge and skills.

This is an ideal opportunity to signficantly expand your communication and consulting skills, with a varied and diverse client Industry base.

Specifically the Role will involve:
• Lead the team on design, development and delivery of IFRS consulting and training solutions to make client self capable in IFRS financial statements preparation
• Working closely with external clients on identifying their training and consulting needs in the area of IFRS
• Managing of client relationships and ensuring deliverables are delivered on timely basis
• Supervising the consulting team and administrative support resources to ensure their work is completed to the required standard of quality

The successful candidate’s profile:
• A Russian citizen with at least 4 years of experience in the IFRS and Russian accounting environment, including at least some involvement in training and development areas (design and delivery) (proved by working experience as a chief of IFRS group or IFRS audit manager/ AM)
• Outstanding communication skills, including good spoken English, analytical skills
• Confident and professional speaker in front of groups of people
• Proven team manager, mature enough to build and maintain successful client relations and run IFRS consulting projects
• Strongly committed to professional development
